British D Day veterans are presented with the Legion d honneur by the French Ambassador to the UK , Sylvie Bermann. Since 2014 more than 4300 of the medals have been awarded to British World War 2 veterans. Pictured is Victor J. Syborn, 96 from Chiswick,who was a Lieutenant in the 5th Regt. Royal Marines Armoured.
